Roll back Spell Breaker and Holy Wrath to their previous functionality. Even just rolling back Spell Breaker would be enough, but both of them would be ideal. 600/smite was a really fun way to play.

I came here to write this too. 600/smite, with maintained Holy Wrath, was my favourite way to play and made me a few good friends. The good ol' days (imo).

I don't mind paying buying account upgrades. My hope is that when the GW2 honeymoon is over, they will look and see that GW1 still brings in some money and revisit it.

I wish they revitalize the game a bit by assigning a small dedicated team for updates and content. Doesn't matter if they're slow to release new stuff, I just don't want GW1 to stagnate and die.

Also, we should somehow get active GW1 players to get together and organize a way to encourage gw2 players to migrate back to GW1, I'm hoping that'll get A.Net's attention.
I miss the good old times!

The castor classes are still nothing like this game and aren't worth playing.
When it comes to a small dev team.GW devs have probably have left and Gw2 don't a lot about GW.

exploring sux, but its also weird that cantha and elona have it, but proph seems to be pushed away, aside from WiK (which's enemies have all profs and skills, not just proph-only, so its kinda from everything)
and i'd love to sightsee the areas, so i can see every corner without having to protect npc's or such
but yeah, carto is annoying, which they fixed in cantha and elona, so why not proph?

It's because titles weren't added until Factions. When they designed Prophecies they had no reason to be concerned about how hard mission areas were to map. It would be nice if they standardised various elements across the campaigns.
Personal gripe: weapon spells overriding the appearance of your weapon. If I'm going to spend a not insignificant amount of time deciding upon and acquiring the exact weapon I want I don't want it to be replaced with some ugly hunk of bone. Went through the effort of getting a set of Balthazar weapons for my Rit only to realise I'm not going to actually see her using them.

I would like to see the last super nerf that would make all current meta builds unavaible and ppl would totally need to think new ways to do stuff
Good example, Remove 2nd Profession!!!

yea marty, but i think it'd be nice if they gave proph exploreable missions when they were still active at GW
now it'd be nice, but such a small chance, that i gave up on it
i dont say i'm 100% sure they wont, but all i can do is suggest
and in this topic i answered the question what i'd like to see this year, not what i expect them to do with GW
if they'd actively listen again, i'd suggest it again right away
as for weapon spells, why not let em change nothing (maybe an aura around them), but give us a new set of weapons, which are the skins of weapon spelled weapons?

I assume the last person with even a remote clue about GW1's source code (i.e. someone who could grant any of these wishes) has long left the company.

or they are 'working on gw2 and have no time for gw1'
either way...this is just a list of stuff we wish for (kind of like a list you make for santa claus at xmas).
so I guess we could wish that someone with a clue is still working on gw.....(and yes, perhaps I do believe in santa claus).

The shop prices are just insane so it would be nice if they can lower it even for just a little bit. :/

I would like either:
A) The devs address the botting and synching or
B) Cease trading GW1 products altogether.
It's a disgrace to sell products which cannot be used as intended.

Your A was addressed a year and a half ago. All the cheaters were banned. Then many subsequently cried to anet and got unbanned.

How could they be unbanned? For 2 years+ any correspondence with Anet ends up with them declaring that the game is old and there is "limited support" (read: no support). Unbanning suggests some sort of action on the part of the GMs.
If an unsuspecting purchaser decided to buy the PvP pack, what can they reasonably do with their purchase? It's deliberate sale of goods not fit for purpose. That's called fraud where I live. Then said purchaser would have to agree to the EULA which isn't even slightly upheld by those who wrote it.

Because they screwed up and banned more innocent people than the guilty. Their auto program for catching bots was fatally flawed and run by someone who never played GW1 according to his own twitter posts or something.
He actually was banning some people simply because they owned more than one account cause he couldn't understand how anyone would buy more than one account unless they were up to no good. I don't know how all this worked. I assume he caught people having two accounts on at once during a "sweep" and didn't understand that many people have "storage accounts" and swap stuff between those accounts and the more active ones. Because, again, he NEVER played the freaking game ever.
Guy was an idiot and he made a total mess of things. Long time innocent players were banned collectively with the guilty. People were up in arms. Way to treat your customers ... not.
So given the thousands of bans they collective had to re-instate most though some innocent fell through the cracks and still remained banned and many (most) guilty got back on. Complete, total frak-up. Hope he got fired for that mess.

Reminder : Saying on the biggest Gw forum in public that there are more and more bots and that you think they won't ban anyone will not lower the amount of bots, on the contrary people will think that "everybody does it", "there is no risk" so they will also give it a try without thinking of the real risks like scams, hacking, or ban for using such programs from random guys.
Also, I was heard of a few bans lately (last week) for botting, but people are usually not proud of being banned (as botting is one of the only reason you could be banned for nowadays) and that's why we don't hear about it so much.

it was funny seeing banwave of bots (not fun that innocent people got caught too), and HzH and cavalon had wayyyy less faction
i hope they'll get something against bots, or just actively ban them
warning people: i dont want nice people tio be banned, but dont use bots, thats against the EULA, and will get you banned one day, if they would even still remember to check GW1
but yea, was fun seeing the nr1 facgtion based cities having way less than 20 million all the time
if only they'd find a way to get the bots disabled..... and not multilaunch and other stuff (even texmod) that doesnt do bad
